The intricate needlework embroidery on Alexander McQueen’s Box 16 shoulder bag is a reverent ode to feminine craftsmanship. Floral motifs central to the brand’s DNA are met with an homage to Lee Alexander McQueen, the late founder of the label. Crafted in Italy from smooth ivory-hued calf leather, the compact and structured silhouette evokes that of a treasure box. The number 16 refers to the length of the bag: 16 centimetres. Although equipped with a top handle and removable shoulder strap, we’re holding ours like a clutch to emulate the runway look.
